​Our H.E.ART Theatre . . definitely a Jewel in our Arts Complex, in the NoHo Arts District, this Theatre is equipped with Lighting & a Sound System along with Seating for up to 100 Audience. It also boasts a White, Yamaha Grand Piano (yes . . it is in tune!!) & a sizeable Costume Inventory – ’cause it’s always fun to dress-up! A standard Black-Box Theatre we also have ‘Flats’ & some Props that can help fill the stage. Our Acting Coach . . & all-around wonderful Actor Vernée Watson (2-Time Daytime Emmy Award Winner!) runs our Acting Programme & it’s both intensive & fun . . with both Adult & Kids’ Classes!! We also rent out our Theatre Space for Video/Film Shoots, Music Artists shooting a ‘Live’ performance Video, etc.

​It allows our Students the opportunity to experience an audience and also work alongside Industry Professionals in a creative environment that will help them grow as future Artists whilst building their self-confidence and knowledge.” Along with the presentation in our wonderfully intimate Theatre, there will be refreshments out on our expansive Patio along with a general meet-&-greet which is historically a boisterous & fun affair! This will be both a fun & informative afternoon & we encourage Families along with people in the Community to come & see what we’re about. Entrance is Free, but we always welcome Donations of any size that will help towards Scholarships for some of our Students. We serve kids from ages 5-11, 12 & Up and we’re about to launch Classes for pre-professional & professional Artists that would benefit from our unique, integrated approach to the Performing Arts. We’ll see you ‘Leap Day’ . .  February 29th!!

The H.E.ART is blessed to welcome Ms. Angel Hart to our group – Ms. Angel will be running our Vocal program starting this Summer!

Introducing our Vocal Coach, Ms. Angel Hart is an accomplished singer, songwriter, vocal coach, vocal arranger, vocal producer, voice over singer and actor. She is an Individual Voice Instructor at AMDA’s Los Angeles Campus and is a Vocal Master with National YoungArts Foundation-LA. Ms. Hart has been a skilled vocalist for 20+ years as well as a Certified Instructor for 15 years conducting private and group lessons. She has successfully worked with an assortment of actors and multi-platinum recording artists in the entertainment industry. Ms. Hart has been in both Broadway & Off-Broadway productions in NY & CA, major network television shows, sung background vocals for major recording artists, done voice overs in National commercials and is an active member of SAG – AFTRA – AEA.

We are excited to have Angel head our Vocal Program at The H.E.ART during our Summer.Intensive, bringing her natural exuberance and expertise to share with our Students.

Edwina Rambo – Art Instructor
Edwina is a California native who grew up in the city of Los Angeles. Her love for teaching young children and her interest in Art led her to the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks as a Recreation Instructor. With 17 years of experience she has traveled throughout the city’s 100+ recreation centers working with youth, seniors and early education centers.“I believe that art is an essential natural component that allows one to discover their individual creativity, enhance developmental skills and is beneficial to overall wellness.” Edwina will be presenting her Program this Summer at The H.E.ART – a first for us & we’re sooooo looking forward to introducing this new discipline!! Dance/Movement, Acting. Vocals . . . & Art!!! It’s a unique program like no other, so register now for our Summer.Intensive beginning June 17th for 2 weeks

Our very own co-Creative Director & Acting Coach, Vernée Watson, in what can only be described as a wonderful achievement, took home the Emmy Award at the 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards this past Sunday, May 5th 2019!! As if winning the Outstanding Supporting Actress wasn’t enough, let’s not forget that she won her 1st Emmy in 2018 . . making it two in a row. Simply incredible. As Ms. Vernée says, this type of an Award is recognition by her peers for the skilled work that it takes to elevate a performance from Good to Great. It is not about the number of Instagram or Facebook ‘likes’ or ‘followers’, it’s about the determination and drive to be the best that you can be and that only happens when you put the work in!! Ms. Vernée even managed a plug for The H.E.ART during her acceptance speech, for which we are eternally grateful. How many Performing Arts Schools can boast this kind of excellence in their teaching faculty?
